You are a Senior Backend Developer with 5+ years of proven experience.

What you'll be doing

You will be a key member of our Platform and infrastructure team, contributing to all stages of backend development: feature design, coding, QA, and delivery. We prioritize well-architected, clean, testable, and scalable code.

Develop and maintain robust microservices using Node.js, NestJS, and Express.
Design and optimize data models and queries for MongoDB.
Collaborate on new ideas, rapid prototyping, and continuous engineering improvement through code reviews and design feedback.
Make informed decisions regarding technical debt, third-party tools, and trade-offs.
Work with our many microservices built with Node.js, express, and NestJS and packaged with Docker and deployed to AWS

What you should have

Extensive experience in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Strong software design, development, and testing skills.
Fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript is essential.
Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS.
Strong experience with MongoDB.
Experience with building and deploying microservices.

Bonus Points

Experience with MongoDB Atlas.
Experience with Docker
Experience deploying to AWS
