SuiteSpot

Senior UX/UI Designer

Product Management - Toronto, ON, Canada - Full Time

Who We Are

SuiteSpot is a PropTech company transforming how residential real estate is managed and operated at scale. Our award-winning Maintenance and Capital SaaS solutions serve the top 50 multifamily property management operators in North America, helping them streamline operations across hundreds of thousands of units.
We move fast, ship real solutions, and measure ourselves by customer outcomes. Our engineering team operates with high autonomy and direct customer impact. We live by P.I.E. — Passion, Integrity, and Execution — and look for people who do the same.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to build a powerful, user-centric platform that handles massive scale without the bloat. You will be responsible for two distinct user worlds: the high-stakes office environment where various admins manage thousands of units at scale, and the fast-paced field environment where technicians need mobile clarity, engaging experiences and ease of use. You will not just design screens; you will own the creation and evolution of a scalable Design System that empowers our engineers to ship high-quality features faster than ever, reducing ambiguity and technical friction and improving our product along the way.

What You'll Do

  • Visionary Design: Imagine the future of our platform’s look, feel, and interactions in a way that puts us ahead of the market.
  • Build & Evolve the SuiteSpot Design System: You will lead the creation of a "living" design system. The goal is to reduce ambiguity for developers and ensure that "Version 1" of any feature already looks and feels production ready
  • Master the Dual-Experience: You will design dense, data-rich desktop interfaces for power users and streamlined, high-utility mobile experiences for field workers
  • Design for Scale & AI: You’ll find elegant ways to integrate AI-driven insights into the workflow as we continue evolving our AI agents
  • Advocate for the "No Noise" Philosophy: You’ll ruthlessly prioritize the user’s time. If a task can be done in two clicks instead of three, you’ll find the way.
  • Collaborate Without Borders: You’ll work in the "blurred lines" between Product and Engineering. You are a partner in the process, not a service provider.
  • Run Towards the Fire: When a workflow is failing our users, you dive in, diagnose the friction, and iterate quickly. You value Speed over Perfection and Customer Experience over Speed.

Who You Are

  • Great Eye, No Ego: You have high standards for visual craft but leave your ego at the door. You want the best solution, not just your solution
  • Hungry & Impact-Driven: You’re excited to see your designs in the hands of thousands of users immediately. You aren't here to hide in Figma files
  • Iterative Thinker: You’re comfortable shipping an MVP, learning from the data, and improving it in the next sprint
  • Team player: Have communication and team working skills. You enjoy suggesting ideas, collaborating internally and externally, providing and receiving feedback, and supporting teammates
  • Organized: You can juggle multiple projects at the same time while having the ability to go deep into one if necessary
  • Owner: You take ownership and you want to ensure the best outcomes for the business

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of Senior-level experience in UX/UI (B2B SaaS and previous startup experience is a massive plus).
  • A proven track record of building Design Systems from the ground up and solving complex workflow problems.
  • Mobile & Desktop Expertise: Deep understanding of responsive web design and mobile UX.
  • Technical Handoff: Proven experience in developer handoff, ensuring that what is designed in Figma is technically feasible and accurately implemented in production
  • Mastery of Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, variables, and token-based design.
  • AI Fluency: Experience leveraging AI tools for prototyping, concept generation, and design workflow acceleration (Claude, Claude-powered artifacts, Figma AI)
  • Familiarity with UX research methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to cross-functional teams

What's In It For You

  • Total Ownership: You aren't just a cog in a machine. You are the design authority at SuiteSpot.
  • Immediate Impact: Our customers manage hundreds of thousands of homes. Your work directly affects the efficiency of their entire workforce and the lives of millions of people.
  • Growth & Autonomy: No red tape. If you see a way to make the product better, we want you to speak up and advocate for the customer.

Hiring Process

We aim to move quickly and respect your time. The process has three stages:
  1. Initial Conversation: Chat with our Director of Product
  2. Portfolio Deep Dive
  3. Executive conversation — meet our CTO to align on direction and close out any remaining questions.
We provide feedback at every stage and aim to move from first conversation to offer within 3–4 weeks.

SuiteSpot welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Should you require accommodations in any part of the interview process, please contact us at [email protected].

Help us maintain an inclusive culture.

We want anyone, anywhere to have the same chance and opportunity to build a life they love and that they are proud of. We are proactive in creating a belonging environment that anyone can be a part of. Thoughtful, data-driven decision-making is core to this success. We ask these questions to strengthen our practices by using data to identify and mitigate unconscious bias in our hiring process.

If you choose to answer them, the responses are ONLY used in aggregate to help us identify areas for improvement in our processes. Your responses, or your choice to prefer not to say, will not be associated with your application and will not in any way be used in the hiring decision. For one, that’s illegal, and we’re really not into breaking the law. Keep being awesome, and thank you for considering work at SuiteSpot.
